The
West Virginia hills afford much to be discussed
around the campfire. Ghosts, wild beasts, and
strange legends provide plenty for the avid
folklorist to ponder. Of course, West Virginia's
native folk hero, John Henry, allegedly died after
a race with a steam drill at Big Bend Tunnel near
Hinton,
WV.
