Babcock State Park
Bordering the New River Gorge National River, vacationers at Babcock may select from among 13 standard log cabins located by Glade Creek (a trout stream), five standard cabins of frame construction, eight bungalow cabins and two deluxe handicap accessible cabins. Each standard cabin features a woodburning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and bath with shower. All cabins feature electric lighting, modern appliances, and are completely equipped for housekeeping including cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, bed linens, and towels.
Bluestone State Park Boarding Bluestone Lake, overnight guests may choose from among 26 modern cabins in a variety of sizes suitable for two to eight persons. Of modern design and frame construction, the cabins feature beautiful, wood-paneled walls, stone fireplaces and forced air furnaces.
Twin Falls Resort State Park Currently, Twin Falls offers 14 vacation cottages. Ten offer two bedrooms and are suitable for four people, two have three bedrooms and are suitable for six people and two have four bedrooms and are suitable for eight guests. The cottages are secluded on a heavily forested hilltop. The park is located about 25 miles from Beckley, West Virginia (WV).
