The Beckley, WV real estate market is the New River Gorge region's largest and most diverse. Homes for sale or rent in Beckley, particularly near Mountain State University, are in continuous demand. As a result of its location at the junction of two interestate expressways, the Beckley area is among West Virginia's primary transportation hubs and warehousing centers. Rail access into the Beckley area is provided by CSX, and air service is provided via the nearby Raleigh County Memorial Airport at Beaver, WV.

A brick residence rises along Woodlawn Avenue in one of Beckley's fashionable older neighborhoods. The Beckley real estate market is the largest in the New River Gorge region and also includes the adjacent communities of Sprague, Mabscott, Beaver, and MacArthur.
