We know the area and have spent years on the banks of West Virginia rivers and streams. Catch beautiful bronzebacks as well as rock bass, bluegill, muskie, or walleye. The majestic Greenbrier River is great for light tackle or fly fishing and can be safely waded in warm months. The swift New River pose a greater challenge, but for those who want to go the extra mile for a citation, it's the destination of choice. We provide all the transportation from your place of lodging, though guests have the option to stay in our modern cabin with 300 feet of private frontage on the Greenbrier River. The river is calm at the cabins, only five feet deep, allowing for easy wading. Last Chance also guides hunting expeditions for elk and wild turkey.

Plum Orchard Lake
Plum Orchard Lake impounds 202 acres and provides 6.5 miles of shore line, with a maximum depth of 40 feet. Good populations of sunfish, large mouth bass, channel catfish and crappie have been established. Water conditions are usually clear, and nighttime angling is successful. Three boat launching ramps are located on the lake. Boat motors may be of unlimited horse power in the unrestricted portion of the lake, but in the restricted part of the fishing area, only electric motors are allowed. Fishing with minnows is prohibited.
