This New River Gorge hiking trail branches off of the
Long Point Trail, leading to Kaymoor Top, where it
connects with several hiking trails in this area.
Trail Rating: 0.8 miles - moderate hiking
Trailhead Information: The Long Point Trail can
be accessed either from the Long Point trailhead or
Kaymoor Top.
Long Point Trailhead:
From Fayetteville, WV, follow W.Va. 16 south to a left
onto Gatewood Road. Follow the latter 1.9 miles to the
left onto Newton Road. Parking is about 50 yards
ahead on the left.
Kaymoor Top Trailhead:
To reach the Kaymoor Miner's Trail from
Fayetteville, WV, follow W.Va. 16 south to a left onto
Gatewood Road. Follow the latter two miles to the left
onto Kaymoor Top Road. Follow one mile to intersection,
and bear left into parking area.
