Stunning views of the New River and the ruins of the abandoned Brooklyn mine highlight this hiking and equestrian trail that begins near Cunard, WV, and follows the high western wall of the New River Gorge.

Directions

Cunard Trailhead: From US-19 at Fayetteville, WV, follow WV-16 south to a left onto Gatewood Road (CR-9). Follow Gatewood Road 4.6 miles to left onto Cunard Road (also CR-9). Follow Cunard Road 1.8 miles to left onto Cunard River Access Road and continue 0.8 miles to parking area for Kaymoor and Brooklyn Mine trailheads.
