Burnwood Trail
On the north end of the New River Gorge Bridge, this loop hiking trail affords travelers a convenient path through which to explore the tablelands north of the New River Gorge. The trail winds through field, forest, and groves of rhododendron. Unlike most trails near the bridge, the Burnwood Loop Trail avoids the cliffs along the rim of the New River Gorge and is thus recommended for families with young children.Trailhead Information
