Craig Branch Trail

This gravelled trail wanders across the tablelands south of the New River Gorge and crosses Craig Branch before descending along the rocky rim of the gorge to join the Kaymoor Trail. The trail also serves as a biking trail and a park administrative road and provides rock climbers access to climbing areas on the cliffline along the rim of the gorge. Spectacular views of the gorge abound along the rim.

Directions

Kaymoor Top Trailhead: From US-19 at Fayetteville, WV, follow WV-16 south to a left onto Gatewood Road (CR-9). Follow Gatewood two miles to the left onto Kaymoor Top Road (CR-9/2). Follow one mile and bear left into the parking area.
