Keeneys Creek Trail

This gravelled trail follows the gentle four-percent grade of an abandoned railroad through the lower gorge of Keeneys Creek into the the New River Gorge. Along the way it ambles across a landscape of steep-walled forest, crossing four tall trestles and the cascades of Short Creek and other mountain rivulets. The trail doubles as a park service administrative road and is also open to bikes.
