 Beury Monument 
Monument to Joseph L. Beury, on a hillside at Quinnimont, WV, overlooking the location where the first train car of New River "smokeless" coal from Quinnimont mine rolled onto the mainline of the C&O Railway, in September of 1872. This was the first shipment of coal from the New River Coalfield.
